Pres R Weston opened the 14th MWSA meeting at 19:30.
Chap Deon Williams led the Lodge in prayer and Bro. President led the attendees in the pledges to the United States and Texas flags.
Bro President introduced the officers of 14th MWSA. WM Joe Tarrant introduced the officers of Sam R Hamilton Lodge No. 1031. Bro President introduced 50+ year Masons and Veterans. VP D Ritter introduced dignitaries.
Bro Secretary informed the brethren that the minutes from the April 29th, 2026, meeting was posted on the website and made a motion for them to be accepted as posted. Chap Deon Williams seconded, the brethren voted by affirmation.
Bro Treasurer provided a report stating that the current bank account balance is $1974.57 with only one charge for WIX (website) of $34.64. Motion to pay bills as they come was made and seconded by Bro. Secretary, the brethren voted by affirmation.
There was no unfinished business.
New business: Brandon Moore – website/app - https://www.masoniceventstexas.org/ - which was built to host a location to upload and communicate events across 14th district.
Program: Introduction of the DDGMs: RWs: 14C-Troy Messick III, 14E-Smith Colbert, 14F-Benjamin Waits, 14G-Joe Tarret, 14H-Terry Popham, AL-Jimmy Emmons, Jeff Haven and Jeff Frayser.
Announcements and calendar events were announced. Including that the Travelling Gavel is currently at Carrollton Lodge No. 1400 and their stated meeting is the first
Thursday of the month.
The next MWSA meeting will be June 24th, 2026, at Washington Lodge w/Grady Smart providing a presentation in the dining hall.
Calls for Sickness and Distress were made and included RWs Sanchez and RW Travis;
Bro. Chaplin Williams delivered a closing prayer.
Bro. President Weston closed the meeting at 20:20.
