Pres D Ritter opened the 14th MWSA meeting at 19:30.
Chap RW J Frayser led the Lodge in prayer and Bro. Pres led the attendees in the pledges to the United States and Texas flags.
Bro President introduced the officers of 14th MWSA. Pres recognized veterans and 50+ year members. Bro VP F Sloan introduced dignitaries.
Secy K Morton gave Secy report and made a motion to approve the minutes, as posted, which was approved. Treas J Araiza gave the Treas report, which was approved, as presented.
Past Pres Patrick Travers made a presentation regarding migrating the directory into a website. After some questions, notably around public distribution of private information, the discussion was tabled for a later time.
1st VP Michael Diamond and Secy Steve Easton gave a presentation on the history and purpose of the High Noon Club.
Pres D Ritter gave a snapshot of the 14th Districts MWSA including where we are, as an organization, today and our upcoming programs. 36 Lodges are members of the 14th MWSA. Lodges in the 14th Districts have initiated 293 Entered Apprentices, passed 204 Fellowcrafts, and raised 205 Master Masons. 449 Masons suspended for non-payment of dues. Looking to find a way to help Lodges address these challenges with the theme of “Lodge 360” where we give a holistic review of the challenges faced by
Lodges as well as ways to overcome the challenges.
Various members made announcements regarding upcoming events around the 14th Districts.
Chap led closing prayer and Pres closed the meeting at 20:08.
