Pres R Weston opened the 14^th MWSA meeting at 19:28.

Chap Kerr Morton Sr. led the Lodge in prayer and Pres led the attendees in the pledges to the United States and Texas flags.

Pres introduced the officers of 14^th MWSA. WM Paul Blumhardt introduced the officers of Duck Creek Lodge No. 1419. Garland Lodge No 441 also introduced all their officers, and the Eastern Star ladies were introduced whom prepared the meals. Pres introduced 50+ year Masons and Veterans. VP D Ritter introduced dignitaries.

Bro Secretary informed the brethren that the minutes from the November 19^th, 2025, meeting and the March 25^th, 2026, meetings were posted on the website and made a motion for them to be accepted as posted.  VP Bro Ritter seconded, the brethren voted by affirmation.  It was noted that the MWSA was dark in December for the holidays, dark in January due to weather, and February was set aside to attend the Feed the Funnel event at the Dallas Scottish Rite hosted by Tannehill Lodge.

Bro Treasurer provided a report stating that the current bank account balance is $2009.21 starting from $2817.65 last November.  A check for $250 for the Rainbow Girls cleared and the cost for the website $506.61, and $51.83.  

There was no unfinished business.  RW Jeff Haven introduced some new business – 14^th MWSA needs to improve communications specifically for degrees but for all other lodge activities.  He is suggesting that the 14^th DCO partner with the MWSA.

RW Grand Orator and Past President Bro Seth Alston made his presentation concerning perception to the members present which was extremely well received.

Announcements and calendar events were announced. Including that the Travelling Gavel is currently at Carrollton Lodge No. 1400 and their stated meeting is the first Thursday of the month. The next MWSA meeting will be May 27, 2026, at Sam R Hamilton No. 1031 where the topic will be the Introduction of the 2026 DDGMs.

Calls for Sickness and Distress were made, and Chaplin Morton Sr. delivered a closing prayer.
