14th District MWSA

Minutes of the Stated Meeting of

October 23, 2024

            On October 23, 2024, at 7:30 pm, the 14th District MWSA was opened by President Roger Landry at the Masonic Retirement Community, 1501 W. Division, Arlington, Texas 76012.

            Officers present were Roger Landry (President), Robert Weston (VP), David Ritter (Secretary), Fred Sloan (Treasurer) and George Rutherford (Ambassador).  Due to the nature of the event, sign-in sheets are incomplete and may contain 64th MWSA Members.  The 64th MWSA was present, represented by its officers, and was opened.

            MWSA 14th/64th District East-West Shrine Bowl ticket sales challenge was announced by the Grand Secretary.

            After prayer, pledges, and introductions by the respective MWSAs, Brother Floyd Hall was introduced as the Moderator.  At that time, those who have made themselves available for Grand Junior Warden, Grand Secretary, Committee on Work, and Masonic Home and School were introduced and took part in a Forum, which was livestreamed for the first time:

Grand Secretary:                      PGM Brad Billings; PGM Paul Underwood

Committee on Work:               Doug Brown; Cody Cockroft

Masonic Home and School:     Greg Wright; John Clements

Following the forum, the meeting was closed with prayer, peace and harmony prevailing at approximately 9:45 p.m.
