Minutes March 27, 2024

Location: Mesquite, Texas

The March Stated Meeting was held at Dallas Lodge No. 760. The meeting opened promptly at 7:30pm with prayer and pledges. President David Bindel welcomed everyone and introduced the MWSA officers. Brother Secretary Vice President Rodger Landry then introduced dignitaries. A delicious meal was provided by Dallas Chapter OES.

Motion to approve the minutes as posted seconded by Brother Bauer. Motion approved

With no old or new business to bring forward before the MWSA, Brother President gave the floor to Brother Keith Idell who spoke on membership. He spoke about the Elephant in the room, why membership is on the decline and things a lodge could do to do better.

Announcements from the floor

R.W. Billings will be speaking at our next meeting and will be hosted by Tannehill Lodge.

Brother Bauer spoke on an event celebrating officers at Medieval Times on Saturday June 15th at 4:30pm-6:30pm.

Brother chaplain gave the closing prayer. With nothing further Brother President closed the meeting.
